GREAT PUMPKIN EXTRAVAGANZA - 2008

- Refer to General Fair Rules and Regulations.
- This contest is open to all children in Adams County who were in Kindergarten through Sixth
grades during the 2007-2008 school year. A special preschool class will be judged also.
- All children are permitted to use pumpkins they grow or pumpkins which are purchased..
- Each exhibitor will be judged in classes corresponding to his/her grade during the 2007-2008
school year..
- All entrants must purchase an exhibitor number for $1.00. Entries will be accepted on
Monday, August 18, 2008 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. All exhibits will be released to exhibitors on Sunday, August 24, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. No prize money will be awarded
for exhibits removed in violation of this rule.
Judging (Prize money will be awarded in all classes.)
* Most perfect specimen, undecorated pumpkin only.
* Best painted pumpkin, using paints, markers, etc. Child should
decorate pumpkin as he/she desires. No carving allowed.
* Best decorated pumpkin, using other materials. Child should
decorate pumpkin as he/she desires. No carving allowed.
